Pro: It's an incredibly seamless way to pay for content, provided you already have a wallet set up

Has anyone noticed that uncached DNS resolution has been awful for the last few days when using @tailscale.com ? Even with Magic DNS disabled, the first resolution time is north of 400ms (using Quad9 with CF as backup / Tailscale 1.80.2 App Store variant)

The TikTok moderation system is still a bizarre unknown to me. You'll see the most heinous racist and xenophobic comments posted with "no violation found" responses posted. But as soon as you're critical of the Apache Foundation, that's a step too far, for both automation and manual reviewers.

The only thing worse than AI being shoehorned into everything is the pop-up full-page overlay callouts to "hey, check out our new AI assistant!" - At least the pop-up ads in the early 00s were in a separate window and didn't prevent you from using the page you visited until acknowledged
