This. It should not be behind closed doors, it should be from the freaking rooftops that they voice concerns for THEIR OWN CONSTITUENTS.
Imagine being so terrified of Elon Musk and Donald Trump that the only way you are willing to advocate for the HUMANE treatment of federal public servants is to do so *privately*.

Craig Strong recently installed a new, more efficient grain dryer on his farm; it was supposed to be funded, in part, by a federal program to reduce the need for fossil fuels in rural communities.
Now, he and other farmers aren't sure they'll be paid back.
