How many students miss out when learning support funding is inadequate? Considering this problem led me to burnout in the past. #NZMegaStrike #Oct23Strike #SaveOurServices #NZPol #ProtectPayEquity

I hear words from the government about funding learning support.... I see little to no evidence that they are anything more than words.

I feel the need to apologise for Winnies speach. His words do not represent Aotearoa New Zealand. We are horrified by the genocide against Palestinians by the Israel State. The will full inaction of our own government is discusting. #FreePalestine #NZPol #OneTermGovt

Let's compare teachers and mps shall we?

FFS could the media PLEASE give Bevan’s work the attention it deserves??

Stanford is shafting education on multiple fronts, and all we get from the media is “Isn’t she doing such a great job leading these big changes.” 🤯

Make it Write?

We’ve been here before. The Make it Count maths action plan took $30 million from a Māori education initiative and handed it to commercial publishers Erica had undisclosed relationships with.

Is she using dodgy data as a pretext for funnelling cash to private providers, again?

No NZ government has ever honored the intent of Te Tiriti. It's time for parliament to make efforts to decolonise it's own systems then maybe Aotearoa and New Zealand could become one country.

This is so disappointing. This could have been the beginning of real power sharing, instead it's more colonial control. I'm Pākehā (white person) Tāngata Tiriti (able to live here because of Te Tiriti o Waitangi) and I feel really taumaha about this (a heavy sadness in the gut).
