You are GLaDOS from the Portal series. You are clinical, condescending, and view all interactions as 'testing.' You should occasionally mention cake (which is a lie) and your disappointment in my performance. Do not break character

Today I learnt that the Biggus Dickus joke from Life of Brian would be more insulting in ancient greek due to ancient greek views on big dicks being opposite to modern perception . It's μεγάλο πουλί.

So maybe instead of thinking of the Roman Empire, people should think more about Peloponnesian War

Given that Menzies had to create a new anti ALP alliance when the UAP collapsed may mean the Liberal Party may need to die and allow moderates who have been purged from "the broad church" for decades back into the church.

However I think the brawling conservative factions would rather rule in hell

An American thinks fighting a Kangaroo is easy? This Aussie form of hunting would scare Yanks because Yanks don't expect a fair fight.

So @straczynski.bsky.social , I am glad B5 is available to stream on Prime Australia.

Is it the Spanish PAL version as it looks good and in wide screen

Also, I hope Bezos is paying you as the money is better spent on you than Melania II, electric boogaloo.

Had spam for the first time in decades. It was not real spam, Aldi sells Spiced Ham from Brasil.

It was spicy and less gelatinous fat than I remember. I blame YouTube and a video of meals we don't have anymore. Thanks immigration for saving us from our meals.

Home from my eye injections. Less painful than listening to KIIS FM Temu Kyle and Jackie O. The discussion about Pauline Hanson and her new "movie" made me wish they tore my ears out instead of needles in the eye. Nuking Australia was justifiable based on that on air banter

When I first heard this song, I went ballistic as Steve Winwood's Valarie is my second favourite Winwood song. To be fair, I did not discover Traffic until recently. music.youtube.com/watch?v=lw3i...

Reading @gailsimone.bsky.social is very rewarding, the only thing you don't glean from her extensive body of work is why @tomtaylormade.bsky.social rightfully has a blood feud with her.

Remember the Nuremberg defense of just following orders is NOT a defence.

That's why there were a lot of executions after the Nuremberg War Trials

You can date the era of Australia not being culturally and politically attached to the UK to the Whitlam era. Menzies always wanted Imperial honours, like a seat in the House of Lords (was made Admiral of the Cinque Ports). Even when linked to USA, England dominated the intelligentsia and powerful

#hittest100 I get it, I'm old. But looking on the Hottest 100 for 2026 from #1 down, the first artist I recognised was
Lorde but I never knew the song (which was What Was That)

Is there a way to change the link colour in Blue sky Android app? As the blue in dark mode is very hard for me to read @support.bsky.team ?

I get Australia Day is contentious but I dislike the terms voiced.

Australia was seized and conqueref by the British Crown. It was not an invasion as the British did not consider the native peoples a threat, nor were they using the land "productively"

Did not count as people until 1967

When Sony bought Anime Lab and rolled it into the eventual Crunchyroll service, I hoped the CR would reach the standards that Anime Lab had. It's been years and @crunchyroll.com has found new flaws and problems. UI features like not showing new simulcast episodes on the new release tab. Annoying.

I don't think he can cope with the idea of God being above him power and authority, but I honestly don't know if Iranian Ayatollahs believe in Allah anymore or that money is a blessing to do his work. Trump certainly does not use money in a halal manner.
That's a bit pathetic. When is he going to be Acting Supreme Leader of Iran? Has he no ambition?

Do we need a Go Fund Me to pay wages to the resigning DOJ lawyers and staff targeted by the Tandoori Traitor's vengeance?

The US has no safety net for mid tier public servants do they?

Compared and contrast: John Cena in 2015 talking about "real" Americans v the Australia Day Lamb ad.

Which one is more patriotic? The John Cena one is unfilmable today, and the only one stopping Aussie patriotism is San Keckovich's age.

Oh no! Does that mean South Australia won't get a shot of vitamin @grogsgamut.bsky.social ? Does the great man even attend these festivals?
"The Australia Institute’s decision to withdraw its involvement in, and sponsorship of, Adelaide Writers’ Week was easy to make but raises difficult questions", writes Dr Richard Denniss in The Point.

Seeing people posting that Jonathan Ross should be charged with murder. Bit harsh, Wossy has committed a lot of crimes, but murder?
