It does actually piss me off that I perpetuate a stereotype about how liking metal is indicative of unaddressed emotional issues. It's just that for me, death and black metal was the soundtrack of gender dysphoria and smothered desires. Now I'm a girl who likes pop music. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
