We now live in that branch of history where there was no Munich pact, the Czechs fought Hitler for 3 years weakening both sides but the Nazis are still
in power with their opponents in concentration camps and propaganda at full swing (+nukes). Is just a ceasefire enough? That’s what it’s all about.
And one can definitely learn from it how to write the most useful review.
I’m really impressed with qedscience.com. Not perfect but the best qualitative jump I’ve seen in AI output since the original ChatGPT. Even the kind of dumb things it sometimes says, a human reviewer could say as well, but many of the points are spot on.

This is very exciting as it could provide a way to identify stimulation targets for syndromes for which no stimulation data exists at all as long as there is some genetic data. Congratulations!

SEEG in epilepsy affords a rare opportunity to record and stimulate in brain regions that are difficult to access, including the white matter. Could we leverage this to map circuits relevant to psychiatric symptoms?

If so, where would one start? 👇

My main fear is not of a nuclear war but of the scenario where humanity simultaneously creates a lot of problems for itself and degrades its ability to deal with these problems. And then instead of coming together everyone will end up fighting each other.

It’s always interesting to read detailed patient accounts of the DBS procedure. I never stop being amazed by how it can turn a person’s life around.
In January, our Board member Janette Sinclair underwent Deep Brain Stimulation surgery to treat her Parkinson's.

Four months on, she's written a frank account of her experience - the highs and the lows - from start to end.
