I remember this evening 3 years ago clearly. I was reading twitter and by midnight it became clear that the war was imminent. Woke up after a few hours just to catch the end of Putin’s diabolical speech. One of the worst days of my life till now. The war is in Ukraine but it’s against all of us.

This is the face of a man who's just lost his entire family, wife and 3 children aged 10, 2 and 2 months wiped out by a Russian bomb. Friends, it is great that we can revive discussing science here but let's not turn away from these horrors. It's been almost 3 years of an absolutely pointless war.
