So I have been editing still, just took a few *cough* months *cough* off to work on some personal stuff, but predominantly have been doing stuff on my furry art blog.

I'm in the throes of convincing myself to get started on a big edit. I needed to decide on a particularly large cut, and I have decided that there is an extra character. Despite being a realistic character, he doesn't quite serve the story, and even kind of undermines it at some points.

Hmmm I'm having thought about how to create a Demon romance from the ground up. after stepping away from my outline for a while, I'm pretty confident it doesn't work. Ignoring the edits I want to do elsewhere, I have a new notes document opened haha

Going through the process of preparing to switch our computer over to linux, so got my manuscript translated over to an ODT file, which revealed a few formatting issues. Before this previous break, I also settled on the title "I Love Samantha"!

Length: 500-3,000 words. [Firm!] One story per author.
Dates: June 1st-30th, 2025.
Language: English. (Translations welcome.)
Payment: $.08 cents per word USD.
Who can submit? Anyone! We would love to see submissions from women, BIPOC, queer, trans, disabled and otherwise marginalized folks!
What we want: MESSED UP DEER! HORROR! (If it’s in the Cervidae family, it counts.)

I have officially read the whole collection aloud for last round editing feedback, and narrowed down my cover image choices! I'm very happy with the couple of cuts I made to fit in a couple of new pieces, I'm very happy with the flow, tomorrow I will figure out how to best format :}

I never know how to advertise, I used to think I do, but now it's like I never have before. It's funny to remember a time where I was doing an internship for it, but that's another life these days. Now I'm posting just in an attempt to get myself to the finish line!

Writers who use genAI for illustrations are class traitors. We all have to fight this beast TOGETHER. We are not just trying to save SOME of our livelihoods.
Self-published authors are unfortunately very rapidly becoming my most-blocked demographic on here due entirely to the rampant use of hideous AI generated book covers
Just in case it wasn't clear: If I click on your profile and see that you've used AI to make something, you get blocked.

So of course I "finish" the outline I have labelled as Finale (lol) and realize that there's just too much for an epilogue. Guess I need another book to establish the new world lol
But that is not a part of the deadline I set for myself to have finished by tomorrow!!

The danger of outlining a whole series is I keep encountering new characters I’d really love to fully design but having to move on so I can make sure everything lines up first lol
