Use CSS Grid to stack items, and visibility: hidden to hide/show spinner!

Not enough people know that there is a visual drop shadow editor in Chromium Developer Tools… Just add a box shadow definition in your CSS and the icon appears, then tweak until you're happy and copy the code.
