This needs more attention. As much as I have a distaste for prevailing measures of what constitutes “good” economic growth, this does not have to mean we stop pursuing improvements and investing in our natural habitats.
Recent suggestions that economic growth can only be attained at the expense of nature are wrong and dangerous. A healthy natural environment is key to a thriving economy.

This needs more attention. As much as I have a distaste for prevailing measures of what constitutes “good” economic growth, this does not have to mean we stop pursuing improvements and investing in our natural habitats.
I almost feel like I want there to be some evil genius behind all of this. Depressingly, it’s just idiots, morons, and cowards.
Power in politics is, as much as anything, the perception of power.
