🖋️ “Help Ukraine! Pass the REPO Implementation Act (S.2918)!” hit 250 signers!

💬 Text SIGN PTRGZT to 50409
Help Ukraine! Pass the REPO Implementation Act (S.2918)!
Text SIGN PTRGZT to 50409 — The REPO Implementation Act (S.2918) is a bipartisan, common-sense solution that ensures justice for Ukraine — and accountability for Russia — without costing U.S. taxpayers a dime. Introduced by Senators Risch (R-ID) and Whitehouse (D-RI), the bill gives President Trump the authority and flexibility to repurpose frozen Russian state assets to support Ukraine’s defense and recovery. This legislation builds directly on the REPO for Ukrainians Act, signed into law in 2024, which first established the legal framework for transferring confiscated Russian assets. The REPO Implementation Act strengthens that framework — creating a clear, predictable, and lawful process for moving Russia’s hundreds of billions in immobilized reserves into Ukraine’s hands. At a time when Washington is paralyzed by gridlock and shutdown politics, this bill is one of the few bipartisan efforts moving forward. It represents a unifying moral principle: the aggressor should pay for the damage they cause. Americans of all parties agree that Putin’s war of destruction cannot go unanswered, and that Ukraine should not have to rebuild its schools, homes, and hospitals with borrowed money while Russia sits on ill-gotten wealth abroad. Passing the REPO Implementation Act would: Hold Russia financially accountable for its crimes against Ukraine. Protect American taxpayers by using Russian assets, not U.S. aid, to fund Ukraine’s recovery. Reinforce U.S. global leadership by setting a precedent other allies can follow. Show moral clarity and bipartisan resolve at a time when the world is watching whether America still leads with principle. Every day Congress delays, Russia profits from impunity. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has already done its part — now it’s time for the full Senate to act. Make Russia pay. Pass the REPO Implementation Act.

Look, for over a year, one brave Cassandra was warning you that massive tariffs were coming and that they’d wreak havoc on the economy. But no one listened to Donald Trump.

The problem is: they've mistaken correlation for causation. They think their parents and grandparents had a good life *because* of manufacturing jobs. When, in reality, their parents and grandparents had a good life *despite* manufacturing jobs, because of unions, high taxes, and social policies.

Good day to remember that a US President has no inherent power over tariffs whatsoever. It’s not like war powers or pardons. It’s entirely delegated by Congress to deal with emergencies. GOP Congress cld modify that law tonight and bring this to a screeching halt.

Not getting much attention, but the Senate GOP is about to start voting - to make sure banks can charge higher overdraft fees. Seriously.

Good time to let your Senators know what you think of that.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO
