This is to inform you that the submission deadline for the upcoming Bilingualism Matters Symposium (BMS 2026) has been extended.
The new deadline for submissions is 26 October 2025.
BMS2026 will be hosted by the University of Milano-Bicocca from 28 to 30 April 2026! will feature a special in-person session on Bimodal Bilingualism. Interpretation will be provided in English–International Sign (IS) and Italian Sign Language (LIS).

Please sign this. In my previous job I helped a client access this service. The staff at the referring clinic told me that there's a strong association with access to more timely abortion being blocked by violent and abusive (ex)partners. These are women we should support, not penalise.
Every week some very vulnerable people in Scotland, mostly young girls, have to travel to England due to lack of later abortion provision. Some have been in danger or suicidal. Committee discuss this tomorrow. Please sign petitions.parliament.scot/petitions/PE...
