This afternoon's run was a bit hard. We got some snow early this morning. Crews did not clean up the park, so the trails were just walked on. That made them lumpy. The weather was pretty good. It was warm enough that I ran with a headband. Met up with 1 runner, waved hello. #running

This morning's run went really well. Temperatures were minus 5°, no wind & strong sun. I felt good during the entire run. I decided to stop at a different location for my stretch break. Not sure if that was good or bad yet. I will try it again another day. #running

Idiot nazi kid doesn't understand that he's now ruined it for all of his evil nazi brethren. Since it's now demonstrated that these pro-ice nazi signs result in punches, the schools will now be empowered to ban these signs to prevent violence.

Nazi morons are such morons.

How did crazy "event" comics mess up comics in the early 90's? I present Deathmate. Things were already getting bad, but the ad below promised this was going to be the hottest "event" ever. Instead, it turned into the biggest mess & heralded the start of the comics collapse of the 90's. #comics

This afternoon's run went better than I expected. It was snowing, but it was not a wet snow, so stayed drier than I expected. Only my feet ended up damp due to the trials being a bit snow covered & not yet groomed. #running

The late afternoon runs are starting to get better. The sun is now setting at 5:35PM, 1 hour later than mid-december. The run itself went well. I tried a route with different side trails. They were lumpy & I was a bit tired at the end. Met up with 1 runner, waved hello. #running

This morning's run was good. Even though it was minus 8°, I dressed lightly as it was sunny with no wind. Glad I did. All trails continue to be snow covered & dry. That makes good footing. Met up with 1 cross country skier & 6 runners, waved hello. #running

From my comics collection, Avengers 236 & 237 by Roger Stern, Al Milgrom & Joe Sinnott. One of the many times that Marvel teased Spider-Man joining the Avengers (spoilers, not this time), this 2 parter sees them taking on a number of SM villains. #comics

I'm noticing a lot of people are using the Chat GPT photo to animation feature to turn their faces into animated versions. They do understand though, that Open AI (the owners of Chapt GPT) are probably keeping the actual photos in their database, right? #chatgpt #openai

This afternoon's run started off a bit odd. My left leg below my knee was feeling tired. During my stretch break, I noticed my sneaker was a bit loose. Re-tied that up. Leg was then much better. Met up with 1 runner, waved hello. Then met up with a loose dog, wasn't happy with the owners. #running

This afternoon's run was a welcome change due to the warmer temperatures at zero degrees. I was dressed lightly, but had to take off my gloves at one point. During the 2nd half of my run, I encountered about 50 crows all cawing loudly (see the 2nd post for the video). #running

Borrowed @kurtbusiek.bsky.social Astro City volume 1 from the public library. I liked it very much. I'm definitely interested in more, but this is the only volume that the library has. I might pay a visit to my local comic shop. #comics

Today's run was paradoxically not as cold as yesterday at minus 5°, but colder because there was no sun. Winter is so weird. I tried a 7km circuit that I had done before via the side trails. It went well. The trails are hard packed, so there's good footing. #running

Today's run was a bit fun, not just because of the slightly warmer temperatures at minus 7°. I met a photographer who pointed out a Pileated Woodpecker high above. One minute later, I saw a Hairy Woodpecker at my eye level, 2 meters away. Cool #running

From my comics collection, The Doctor Fate mini-series from late 2003 early 2004. Featuring the Hector Hall incarnation of the character, it sees him go up against an old enemy of Nabu called Kurse. Written by Christopher Golden. Art by Don Kramer & Prentice Rollins. All covers by Paul Rivoche.

Today's run was a bit cooler. Temperature started at minus 8° & ended at minus 10°. The trails are good. Even the side trails have had enough traffic on it, though they are rough, I have to run a bit slower. Towards the end, I was getting cold, so finished just in time. #running

From my comics collection, Showcase 94 #12. Containing 3 stories for Oracle (Barbara Gordon), Ballistic, and Triumph. I bought it because I thought that this new character Triumph had potential. Unfortunately, bad writing & DC indifference turned him into a bad character. #comics
