The Mac Virtual Display is the only killer app so far on Apple Vision Pro. Producing a lighter cheaper version that plugs into the Mac and maintains the resolution seems like a smart way to go: www.uploadvr.com/apple-vision...

I use my Apple Vision Pro almost daily because the Mac Virtual Display really makes me more productive. That being said, some great ideas here for AVP and also begs the larger question of how it might benefit w/ more thinking of what skuemorphism should be in 3D: www.macworld.com/article/2635...

So sad to learn of the passing of Cecile Richards. I first met her when I interviewed to be the founding CTO at Catalist. And had the privilege to get to know her over the next few years when we shared office space with America Votes. She was an inspirational leader: www.nytimes.com/2025/01/20/u...

Super depressing. Loved ones are so vulnerable when in this situation. And at the end, nothing criminal and the employees in question haven’t lost their jobs.
New York paid $2 million in 2019 to the families of three developmentally disabled group home residents who were beaten and humiliated by workers. In retaliation, court papers show, staff members withheld one's medicine, and she died. Now, the state will pay her family an additional $10 million.
