After watching some Olympic figure skating I told my wife that I think I could twizzle in my hockey skates.
I use a 5/8 hollow and can "float" a little, but when I tried it last night I struggled to connect the turns while on one skate. I can kind of do it on two skates, but not at all gracefully.

The #Canucks fandom has lost another good one. I just found out that my long time seat neighbour at Rogers Arena lost his battle with cancer.
We always shared laughs at games, and I watched his son grow into a teenaged hockey player and fan while sitting next to me.
RIP Peter and FUCK cancer.

Oof. I just saw the hit on Marie-Philip Poulin. Without knowing the context of the hit, it was in a dangerous spot but didn't seem outright dirty. Puck was near and initial contact looks like it was shoulder. Poulin just didn't see it coming.
