Nonbinary. Old. On the internet since 1989.

I should probably state a few things:
-I talk about my boring life as a middle-aged nonbinary person.
-I talk about the books I write.
-I talk about my cats
-I randomly will talk about hockey, especially the Penguins, but I adore the Canucks, too.
-I still love Kris Letang

For authors who don’t know this book club is a fake - it’s a FAKE! An AI fake.
There is a book club organization out there emailing authors telling them the club will feature their work for a "modest fee" for "branded materials" etc. Do not fall for this nonsense. You should never, as a writer, have to pay for such things.

Gonna get the Twisted Wishes books back out this weekend. At least the ebooks.

I'm sitting at work in the cardigan I bought in Sweden. It's toasty warm and like a nice Nordic hug.

Home from Stockholm (got in last night) and I'm appreciating that the sun will be up for another 2 hours rather than 20 minutes.

But I miss the baked goods, the coffee, and being on vacation.

...eat my weight in Swedish meatballs.

Nonserious comment about Sweden: I feel a bit like the Fonz going up and saying "Hej" whenever I enter anywhere.
a man in a leather jacket is standing in a doorway and says hey .
Alt: The Fonz from Happy Days, in a leather jacket is standing in a doorway and saying heyyyyy.

I’m on the nostalgia part of my wandering of Stockholm. Trying to find a few places I remember from my trip here in 1986.

Pretty sure I’ve fallen in love with Stockholm. Despite the sun setting at 3:30 pm.

Every single toilet I’ve been to has been gender neutral. Just your own stall. Makes so much sense.

Okay, it’s not all meatballs.

Just some ancient computing.

It's the 50th anniversary of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. May she and her men always be remembered.

I think my goal in Sweden is to consume as many meatballs as possible.
November 10, 2025 at 12:04 PM
There are meatballs in the breakfast buffet. 😊

This isn’t Pittsburgh.

I’m up to 3 Go Pens on this trip.

Good morning from London Heathrow. Flying is amazing.

I’m not actually going to quote the post, but people talking about how no one is going to Pens games after a game sold out is wild. Like, my dude… things cycle. They’ve been winning so people are starting to buy tickets. There aren’t that many non resale tickets for Sunday’s game either.

I never take for granted that I get to watch this guy in person. So lucky lucky. So blessed. One of the greats.
Crosby still being in his prime at 38 is insane.

random update about the Twisted Wishes books: I was about to re-release the e-books when I noticed that some of the formatting for texts was FUBARed, soooo I'm stepping though each book and fixing that. But also am packing for a trip so... maybe next week? Depending on how my internet access is.

Got home from a hockey game (that I was playing in) to good news.

We lost the game, but it was close. I played D for the first time and... actually did some good things. So all in all a good night.

Trying to decide if I should put the Twisted Wishes books in KU for 90 days. They’ve been wide for years. I’d take them wide after. They’ll also be in paperback.
