Wrote a lil service script that watches "Z:\podcasts\The Basement Yard" for any new MP3s, nabs em, applies a 110hz high pass filter, runs it through Levelator and then puts it back.
I love my basement yard boys but they are in desperate need of someone to buy them a compressor and a high pass filter.

I think I would be an incredible asset to an indie game developer in almost any position (level design and UI being my weak points) but the whole needing food and needing money for the food keeps getting in the way.

Every time I put 12+ hours in and dont get paid or like 100 hours and only get paid for like half of em, I inch a little bit closer to switching to only gamedev. Like if the account is gonna sit at $0 permanently I might as well be doing what I love doing and maybe getting paid at the end of it.

To anyone whos worked on a racing game: do you just lock in the physics at some point and center all of your track design around that? How do you escape the cycle of making new cooler tracks and tweaking the physics constantly?
