yes!!! and the worst part is, he doesn't even consciously realize it, i think. he still clings to mythal and the ... love??? they held for... each other??? because that was his ONLY justification. if she didn't love him, if he can't hide behind his love/adoration for her, then everything crumbles.

If you're doing "Veilguard didn't flop because of live service, it flopped because of *my very specific criticisms of the game*" just stop. It's embarrassing.
The game didn't even really "flop". It just failed to reach unrealistic shareholder expectations.
