Another good @thefsa.bsky.social X FA meeting covering a range of fan-related issues, another selfie with Bobby Moore.

En route to Wembley Stadium for @thefsa.bsky.social X FA structured dialogue session. Lots on the agenda, including a number of non-league related matters. And always travelling with some relevant reading material.

It's a busy week of @thefsa.bsky.social meetings. Tonight it's the National Game Network for all NLS business, then later in the week to Wembley for FA x FSA structured dialogue meeting, and finally the National Council on Sunday. Lots of fan-related non-league matters on the agendas 💪

Couldn't resist. Enjoyed Dougie's foray forward and then tracking back on Tuesday night, at the death, in the East Riding FA Senior Cup.

Tommy's on an ethnographic adventure 💚
Doing my bit by documenting the Villagers trip to Consett today. Away days mean getting the gorgeous Ferriby sports bag out, with its lovely badges. Contained within is reading material, various pocket meats and emergency water.

Off to a match today? Got an idea of something football-themed to write?
Cranking the gears on our issue 29 - the independent voice for North Ferriby fans.. As always, we welcome your missives, doodles, stories etc to vftae2016@gmail.com. Get scribbling. Deadline earlyish December. Will be on sale 26 Dec vs Brid Town 💚

Good luck to the Ferriby lads today at Consett and best wishes to those travelling. Here's a photo (1929) and map showing their former Vicarage Field ground and a 1962 map showing their, now redeveloped, Belle Vue. Photo from Historic England

Tonight's highlight was bumping into former Ferriby favourite, Ben Leyland...as seen on TV with Pickering Town. And of course all the fan chat and laughs in the stand.

Disappointingly, down and out of the @EastRidingFA Senior Cup already.. Lads battled but @HornseaTownAFC took their chances and could have scored more. OK, I understood we'd have a weakened side but zero strength on the bench. Perhaps just take the fine next season 🙄

We've braved it for @north_ferribyfc vs @HornseaTownAFC in the @EastRidingFA Senior Cup. Horrible conditions so we've opted for the covered stand. Think i stepped in every puddle on the way to the ground.

Eldest daughter spotted this in Frankfurt and thought of me/Ferriby. Think I'd prefer it in hoops rather than stripes 😉

Hey @ben-cansonthetrain.bsky.social, just found the programme of my only visit to Newport Pagnell back in 1994 in the county cup. We went confident against lower league opposition, but were whupped. And £9k for a new Cavalier 👌

It was a tie with Sam Aynsley so a casting vote went to Josh Thacker for his worldie the other week. Many congrats to Josh, our #FerribyFanzine Player of the Month for October 💚

1-1 draw against Blyth Spartans, yesterday. We should have put it to bed but at only 1-0 ahead, we all said, "we know how this ends". Again, very few chances. We sorely missed Clements (suspended) and Whiteley (ankle injury). Walker's goal was a peach, however.

We're back with Steeple Sinderby Wanderers' FA Cup action. Today they take on Hartlepool.
#SteepleSinderby are at home to Hartlepool in the FA Cup 1R today. Pools players are out drinking the night before, looking smart in £150 clobber. Here's how the papers reported the tie & Ginchy's commentary in the SS's 3-0 win. But there's fan trouble in the Orchard.
