Just saw Wicked for the first time, on Broadway no less. Fantastic cast and performances and presentation. Glad I made the effort.

God, I am so damn tired of dealing with Amazon on a refund for an item that came broken. They've lied to me about UPS taking unpacked items (they don't, ever), then said they'd refund me twice and failed to do so and now insist they'll refund me quickly. I'm done with them.

No Fanfest tickets, and even worse a lot of people I know didn't get them either. Kinda deflated. I'm actually excited to see what they have coming next, but last Fanfest was fun and I was hoping to make this one.

Reminder that when someone insists they are smarter or wiser than you because they're wealthier or have a "better" career or job - lots of business owners and rich folk behaved like certain political outcomes were a permanent change and immediately genuflected. They're all just as human as you.

As a grizzled Warframe on and off again vet it’s weird to see a flush if fresh people and interest in some of the communities I’m part of. Got me playing again. Nice to see the game in a good place, enjoying at again at a chill pace.

Did not play expedition 33 over the weekend. Instead enjoyed the heck out of the first two episodes of Dispatch and dove back into ye olde Warframe for good times doing crazy insane shit with warframes and weapons.

Man, wanna go back to Japan. Do a bit of Tokyo again, but see more of the countryside and get up north to Hokkaido and maybe even the other way and go deep south to Kyushu and even Okinawa.

Project for this weekend. I insist on experiencing expedition 33. I will punch deep into it this weekend and see how I feel after just churning through it a bit and building up my skill trees. I refuse to miss out even if I think the opening difficulty curve and systems for the game need work.

I feel like such a degen gamer. People I trust from the Grinding Gear guys to community friends just /swearing/ by how amazing E33 is, and I just /cannot/ get past how hard I bounced off the counter mechanics and am instead playing Borderlands 4 and giggling as I find silly guns with weird mechanics

I was never a fan of the kinds of social media mobs cancel culture inspired. But now it seems we’ve gone the other way where some truly heinous shit is apparently fine in certain quarters? I’m a big fan of the idea of “police your own”. Have higher standards for your friends, no matter your beliefs.

An admission, I used to be a political junkie. Watching every election like it was a game and rooting for "my side" to win and greedily hoovering up polls et al. Don't do that. Politics isn't sport - it deserves more scrutiny than your favorite team. Reducing it to colored jerseys is a mistake.

I legitimately believe there are excellent uses for AI. But all this slop isn’t one. Hopefully platforms realize allowing slop is a race to the bottom that will drive away all but their least discerning users. There’s a reason I don’t use Facebook anymore (hint it’s because Facebook just sucks now)

I know people are angry about *waves hands* in politics, whatever your flavor is, but like - I get so many fraudulent calls these days that I basically have all numbers not in my contacts go straight to voicemail. So the phone system is just a spam tunnel. Why is there no interest in fixing this?
