Random thought as I'm listening to some online literary analysis!
I feel like Lit classes I attended spent way too much time picking apart the author's intentions? I see why sometimes that can have value... but maybe we could've spent more time analyzing what elements of the story meant to ~us~

Need to leave most of the other big social media sites soon.
They're all getting pretty... evil.
Need a good alternative to Insta, maybe even FB tho I haven't visited in over a decade. It's be hard to keep friends across platforms & YT will be tough, but gotta hold the line.

I'm not great at telling how old people are, when I was younger I could just barely make out the difference between twenties and thirties by how much of the joy and light of life had left their eyes. I use a similar metric today, but there's less light to work with.

There should be more places where it is socially acceptable to play pretend and fight your fellow adults with a wooden greatsword and stuff.

I don't know if there's a competitive bone in my body, I'm always a little uncomfortable playing /against/ people, but playing WITH them? Excellent.

Editing setback as after reaching my goal of reducing the book down to 135kwrds I've seen requests to get it to 120k or lower... which is understandable, but difficult 😅
I like longer books and there's only so much I can remove from mine in another pass... but I'll do my best while juggling queries

There is and will always be an INTRINSIC motivation to make things worse under Capitalism. Literally.

I have played every DS & Soulslike from ER & Sekiro to Lies of P. Sure, they're challenging.
