Oh, yeah. I added a little bit of bread on top in a nod to some of the dish’s roots and because bread is awesome.

I tend to cook more towards my Sephardi heritage but when the winter weather arrives I clamor for Ashkenazi food. Matzoh ball soup and a ricotta-lemon noodle kugel tonight.
(also, cooking is pretty much the thing keeping me sane these days)

Looking forward to the Giants hiring another white dude who screams and says something about accountability and refers to a pro franchise as a “program.”
The Giants are firing coach Brian Daboll, sources say. A promising and frustrating season leads NYG to have an opening.
After another lead evaporated yesterday, Brian Daboll is out.
OC Mike Kafka is interim coach, per me and Mike Garafolo.

A news report on the high protein craze was just on the news and the testimonials given by its advocates are--ironically enough--strikingly similar to the conversion stories promoted by vegetarians in the early 19th century.
