Today was a really good day! I pampered myself with an everything shower and then an everything after the shower. I then had a mission to find organic cotton sheets locally which I succeeded in . Work was great! A customer brought me a treat!! & I can order a new snack I discovered from work! Wahoo!

I am working out of a public library and there are a good number of people who seem to be on hard times using the facilities for various reasons like job searching, entertainment, charging peripherals, using the bathroom, etc., and I am struck by how important it is that libraries continue to exist

It’s so weird growing up with a mom who was very Tomboy and not feminine at all. I feel like I don’t identify with the majority of females no matter how hard I try because I didn’t grow up around that energy or being allowed to be that way myself

My mom bought me some groceries today (super sweet and unexpected of her) and instead of cooking anything, I ordered takeout. I feel guilty for spending the money when I JUST got groceries but I truly did not feel like cooking tonight. It’s been a longggg 36 hours

I love how I’ve been able to totally change my shopping habits after years and years of overconsumption. Anytime I want/need anything, I always look to buy it second hand first. If I can’t find it, I wait or reevaluate my need/want for it

Started reading books from the Libby app on my phone and so far this year, that’s been how I’ve read the majority of the books I’ve read. I miss my love of the physical book bc my physical TBR is huge and I keep reading digital books not related to it. 😅

A reminder - don't use Amazon, but go to bookshops, which play a far more vital role in promoting literacy just by simply making books more visible, and allow you to find things by chance rather than by what the algorithm decides.

One of my neighbors cut me off from using the dryer. Someone had finished a load completely so I waited a bit and then started a washing load. I go to switch it over and someone is using the dryer?! For what?!? How did you wash your clothes? We have one washer and one dryer???
