Ότι είναι μύθος είναι λίγο πολύ γνωστό. Αλλά το ότι πάει πολύ πίσω από την εποχή Διαστήματος ήταν έκπληξη.

Last Sunday, the 10th National Meeting of Historic Citroens, organized by the Greek 2CV & Citroen Friends Club was organized. It was a great event! This years meeting celebrated 70 years of the DS, 50 of our own NAMCO Pony and 20 years of the C6

After the death of the owner / creator Haragionis it was unfortunately coming.
*My* take is that the family/ whoever inherited it couldn't support, seeing it as just business

people go crazy when they learn of the VW "Hilux" but growing up in Greece these pickups were everywhere
The modest 2WD VW Taro is shown here. Apart from badging, no real effort was made to differentiate the model from the HiLux. The petrol and diesel engines were also Toyota units. VW slotted the vehicle in above its Golf mk1-based Caddy pick-up. It achieved modest sales before disappearing in 1997.

US Electricar began business in 1976. It converted Renault 5s and Fiat Stradas into EVs in 1979 and 1980, both under the name Lectric Leopard. It built carts then electrified cars again (Geo Prisms) in the mid-90s before going out of business. This Strada recently sold near me.

The Ford Ecostar was an experimental EV van handbuilt by Ford in Michigan in 1992. Based on a European Escort van with a sodium-sulphur battery pack; 100 vehicles were leased to corporate clients for 30 months. Sulphur leaks caused vehicles to catch fire; Ford abandoned the project.
