He's like the crazy man at the end of street whose family has to chase him back in at night when he claims "the moon is spying on me." Either that, or this was written in jest--purposeful misspellings, incorrect capitalization, and missed words in a post dissing the Dept of Edu. 🙄😑

That time arrived a long while ago. The question now is whether Democratic leaders fully understand and will act accordingly.

It's absurd that politicians are questioning sending help to CA when, as Gov Newsom (rightly) points out, they have never questioned supporting any other state in our Union.
@gavinnewsom.bsky.social on Mike Johnson considering conditioning disaster aid: "Never in California did we question whether or not we, as taxpayers in the largest state in the Union, should support the people of Louisiana at a time of emergency and need. We’d never condition it."

Cannot disagree with this.
You know who we really owe an to apology to? The Capitol police officers who did their job on 01/06/21 to keep members of Congress from being killed and now have to watch a vote be certified for a man who refers to those same violent insurrectionist as patriots, all to appease his misinformed base.

People not elected to government should not have the power to reshape the government, especially people whose obscene wealth depends on the government functioning a certain way.

This is not a hot take.

It's just plain common sense.

It’s scary to think about
Call me crazy but I don’t think Trump or his Supreme Court care about the rules.
Here’s a strong argument that the “House cannot collude with the president to deprive the Senate of its constitutional power to advise and consent on appointments.”
