The CURRENT sitting MP for Clacton earns £511,000 as a presenter for GB News and took £281,000 as a brand ambassador for Direct Bullion.

So maybe sit this one out, you rancid herring.

Someone (Tufton St.?) was no doubt paying this mendacious grifter for the service.
When Boris Johnson was Prime Minister one of his senior advisers confided to me that one of the only things in politics his boss actually cared about was “killing off the BBC”.

Five years on, and it is a campaign that appears to be finally coming to fruition.

The BBC’s Attempts to Appease the 'Right-Wing Coup' Against It Are Now Seeding Its Own Destruction
By attempting to appease those forces seeking to destroy them, the BBC has helped trigger a crisis that now threatens its very future, argues Adam Bienkov

The more I think about it, the more I think this Panorama video business is very fishy.

I've worked at the BBC, and I'm pretty sure that all involved in the making of this video, from researchers to producers and editors, would all have known this editing was unacceptable.

I'm thinking sabotage.

Note that still in post at the BBC is Robbie Gibb, who helped set up GB News, and John McAndrew, formerly director of news and programmes at GB News.

Gibb needs to be booted out. If this isn't enough to make Starmer act, then nothing is.
Also reminder of this

Robbie Gibb cancelled an investigation into Farage's Leave dot EU campaign shortly before the EU Ref

Arron Banks thanked him for it

"Robbie Gibb is being quite helpful and says he’s trying to hose it down."

"Funnily enough Andy [Wigmore], the only time I ever experienced political interference in one of my investigations at the BBC, was when I was investigating you and Arron Banks

Your mate Robbie Gibb put a stop to a story we were running."

After the referendum, the BBC chief Lord Hall ordered the BBC to treat Brexit as a done deal, a decision which all but wholly excluded Remainer opinion from the BBC for over two years, thus grossly biasing the debate. It was a grotesque abuse of democracy.

My fingers are crossed, but there are a few more of Johnson's stooges to defenstrate yet.
I hope this paves the way for a BBC which doesn't give Farage wall to wall coverage.

It's a start towards a neutral BBC at least. More of Johnson's crony appointments need to follow them through the out door.
the right winger who was appointed to lead the BBC in the hope of appeasing right wingers has been driven out by right wingers for not appeasing right wingers enough and the BBC has the chance to do the funniest thing ever

Tories outraged about a missing migrant prisoner, probably forgot about having to release 13,325 prisoners early to make space for other offenders, because they didn't invest any money in new prisons over a 14 year tenure.
