I follow very few people here. No one pays attention to the few posts I make. Yet somehow, I just keep seeing so many greige hate posts.

It's a color.

A warm neutral color of paint that happens to be popular right now.

It can't hurt you.

Hey everyone. Starting again-again here!
I'm a fantasy and dark fantasy #author - my books are full of fighting faeries, LARPing demons, sentient interdimensional marketplaces - y'know, the usual.

Will likely post about #horror, #indiegames, #writing, #mythology, pop culture and social issues. Hi!

Today I worked on Halloween decorations and came to a sad realization. Handmade arts and crafts decor is more of a beat down these days than fun. It's yet another place where my creativity has abandoned me. I'll slog through because I love Halloween, but I think next year may be different.

Tis the season! Three short horror stories set in space. An alien vampire pyramid scheme, abandoned space carnival where the scariest thing isn’t actually the flesh eating plant/zombie conglomerate, and a PSA about the dangers of alien alcohol. www.amazon.com/Audacitys-Ho...
Sorry! Something went wrong!

I'm looking for recommendations for an eInk tablet that I can use for reading, social media, and light web browsing. Anyone here use a Boox? So far that's the front runner, but I'd like to know if there are others that might have flown under the radar.

It makes me really sad to see a Dr. scorn people who desperately don't want COVID.

Do they realize some people have cancer, have kids with cancer, or live with another chronic disease? I feel like 1 kidney with 2 diseases, high blood pressure, etc are enough medical problems.

I don't need COVID

A better look at my profile picture: in 2019 I participated halfheartedly in inktober, following the prompts, but drawing demons, because demons are cute and cuddly. This one was a particular favorite. The prompt was "overgrown."
I should get back to drawing demons.

I've made the arbitrary decision not to duplicate posts between social media sites. You'd think that means I've got a monumental stash of witty observations and profound insights, but the truth is, in the last year, I've posted less on any site that I used to post in a week on Twitter.

Got my flu and covid boosters yesterday. Aside from a rather stiff arm and a bit of a backache (from too much rest), I'm feeling okay.

Incidentally, I went to CVS for this. No one asked me for insurance and I was not asked to pay anything, for those who may be worried.

I can't yet tell if the follower feed is chronological and shows everything people I follow posted since there's so little posting. Granted, I'm not doing a great job of adding anything.

@leomcbride.bsky.social completely forgot to mention this yesterday, but I've finally got a nice studio set up and a multi-narrated Going Green is back on the table if you're still interested in participating.
