Gabriele Metzler wird Direktorin des ZZF Potsdam:

Nach vier Jahren wird das ZZF Potsdam ab dem 15. November wieder von einer Doppelspitze geführt. Die Historikerin Gabriele Metzler wird das ZZF gemeinsam mit Frank Bösch leiten, der bereits seit 2011 als Direktor am Haus ist.

This week, we take part in the Symbiosis Network Conference "Envisioning Natural Histories" @nhmwien.bsky.social in Vienna and the Haus der Natur in Salzburg. In the first panel we discussed hybrids in 19c. evolutionary theory and hybridities between science and the humanities. Shapeshifting!

We had to insightful panels yesterday on our first conference day. First, Paula Diehl (Kiel), Gideon Botsch (Potsdam), Walderez Ramalho (Santa Catarina), Berver Bervanage, and Marie-Gabrielle Verbergt (both Genth) discussed different approaches of analyzing memory politics in right-wing populism.
