CWS is a major provider of mission services here in the USA as well as overseas. This will deeply affect disaster response to events around the country, too.
Another thing buried in here: folks didn't make as big a deal of it as when Musk went after Lutherans, but Musk *also* went after Church World Service — which resettles refugees and does other things as a cooperative ministry of several Christian denominations — in a tweet yesterday.
