Jeffrey Epstein's brother Mark Epstein added heat to the inferno that’s already scalding the White House this week. Epstein was a guest on the Friday edition of Don Lemon’s ‘Lemon LIVE at 5 podcast’, when he claimed Trump had a reason to kill his brother. “We know that Jeffrey had dirt on Donald Trump,” Epstein told Lemon. “We know that’s a fact because he said in 2016 with the election that if he said what he knew, they’d have to cancel the election. He didn’t tell me what he knows, but that’s what he said. And I’ve been public about that before. Earlier this year, Trump’s appointed U.S. Attorney Pam Bondi told Fox News that Epstein’s list was "sitting on my desk right now to review." She more recently walked back that claim, saying Epstein's Department of Justice file — not his famed client list — was what was had been on her desk, and that there actually was no client list. The nothingburger roiled the MAGA universe, which had fed for years on conspiracy theories that powerful politicians and media figures had Epstein murdered in prison to hide their connection to Epstein’s trafficking scheme. Trump himself and many in his administration had ramped up conspiracy claims in the months leading up to his November election. Trump has since adopted a new tone, rebuking a reporter earlier this week after being asked about Epstein. Members of Trump’s MAGA following are turning on Trump, claiming the about-face looks suspicious, with critics warning it could work against him in the midterms. Epstein’s brother said Friday that he is among the fold that feels Trump is incriminated in his brother’s death. So, the people who are coming out with these ridiculous statements, I think, are covering up for somebody, right? Maybe someone should ask him what he knows.” “Who do you think they’re covering up for?” Lemon pressed. “Who do they all work for?” Epstein demanded. “They all work for Donald Trump,” Lemon said.
