I cannot think of a single right in the Bill of Rights that hasn't been carved hollow by 250 years of SCOTUS decisions. Even the Third Amendment got shaved by declaring cops to not be soldiers so they could force the use of a house for a stakeout.

The American public broadly believes the prez to be a pedophile, sexual harasser, racist, bigot, war-mongering and "wealthist." The difference is that one third likes that about him, one third believes the same rules that spawned him will beat him, and one third has no access to power.

By definition, every person killed prior to a complete trial and due process of law is innocent of all crimes. That is what Innocent Until Proven Guilty means. I don't care if ICE shoots a Hitler/Judas hybrid clone - if he ain't convicted by a fair trial, he's innocent and the cops are wrong.

I have only ever heard the "don't put solar over fields!" arguments from NIMBYs and folks invested in oil. BTW, solar panels' shade is good for many applications. Corn sometimes grows *better* under 'em!
