I like the NBA Cup. Tonight’s game should be a banger. But we can do better.
1. Start the NBA Cup later.
2. Stop trying to fix the All Star game, turn it into a 3-on-3 tournament (with draft) and a substantial cash prize.
3. Make the NBA Cup final the crowning jewel of all star weekend.

The Thunder are the best team we have seen in 20 years and they have the draft capital to keep getting better. They don’t have to rely on free agency and they can even trade talent for future assets down the road.
