Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

i think what gets overlooked is that part of the humor and charm of edits like these is that you're perfectly aware that someone sat down and spent their own time making it. they chose to do something cool or silly or stupid or genius, regardless of the results

ironically this is where I see gAI used the most bc I understand wanting visual noise to make alive the environment, but this is the area that deserves gAI the least bc it's that exact visual noise that informs the details of the worldbuilding and where people hunt for Easter Eggs enthusiastically
One of the most underrated design skills in games is graphic design for things like decals and fake branding for posters/stickers/flyers/books/props/signs/displays.
We take this stuff for granted and yet they are very much a world building detail that adds so much more life to environments.
