There could actually be a 6-way tie for first place in the ACC after next week if... Miami beats Pitt; VT beats UVA; Cal beats SMU; Duke beats Wake Forest. If all that happens, GT, UVA, SMU, PItt, Duke and Miami would all be 6-2. There's less than a 1% chance of it happening, but miracles, right?

I remember being in 6th grade science class when we got the word that JFK had been killed. Our teacher was visibly upset and when a couple of the boys in class made a joke, she blew her top. It was the first and only time I ever saw her get that upset.

UVA men's soccer plays UNCG on Sunday at 5:00. When I was in college in the mid-70s, my school(Lynchburg College) was a small college soccer powerhouse and UNCG was just starting to play. My senior year, we beat UNCG 18-0. They sure have come a long way in the last 50 years. #Hoos
