UK-based middle-aged k-pop fan of multiple groups. Primarily &Team and BTS, but also Seventeen, Stray Kids, Ateez, aoen, Boynextdoor and GOT7.

I fell off a table and fractured my wrist.
No, I wasn't dancing on it, but I was using it as a step down from a higher table I was standing on. The leg of the table was damaged and when I stepped on it, the whole table collapsed. I was 16 years old. Weeks before my exams.

I've made a deal with a friend who hates clothes shopping about as much as I do that we'll go together in a couple of weeks. I need clothes that actually fit me, and the promise of cake as a reward is about the only thing that will work for me...

This blanket my daughter bought for me is absolutely perfect. It's as warm as a duvet but so much lighter.
I don't always like the weight of a duvet, but I do like to be warm, and this gets the balance just right. I could spend my life under this blanket.

Turns out my appointment today was with haematology, not hepatology (blood not liver but I've spelled them wrong I'm sure).
So no answers to what's wrong with my liver, but a whole new (minor not to worry about) blood thing. Probably connected to my immune system.
I hate this.

#menstruation I swear that since becoming perimenopausal, my body has become much clearer about pre-warning signs. I never used to get quite so much notice.
