Study burnout is a real issue, but you shouldn't beat yourself up either if you're struggling with it.
I've been studying Japanese for over 19 years but there were many times I didn't do any studying for months on end, sometimes even six months to a year.

This is probably my 4th-5th rewrite of this post.
I've seen so many friends / peers get burnt out on learning Japanese.
It's a big undertaking: you're learning an entirely new language /and/ the culture that's inseparable from it.
I wish I could give one-size-fits-all advice or encouragement.

Barely sleep because of body aches from my covid booster (always happens to me 😭) but at one point I woke up and had a half-awake deliriously happy thought about &TEAM maybe interacting in some way with Mrs. GREEN APPLE because they'll both be at Kōhaku Uta Gassen 💖
