I said this after the election and I'll say it again: take up knitting/crocheting. It can be done on the cheap, it's portable, there are millions of free resources to help you learn, and it's useful.
might i recommend taking up a craft of some kind if your body allows. it helps

I’ve spent five hours today just trying to replace the supply lines under the kitchen sink. The cold water one went fine. The hot water one won’t come off because one of the joins is badly corroded.
