Researchers at Calibr-Skaggs and @tamu.bsky.social have identified CMX410, a compound that blocks a key enzyme in M. tuberculosis, the bacterium responsible for tuberculosis, and proved effective against drug-resistant strains, with a favorable safety profile and a reduced likelihood of resistance.
