Cake is a little flatter and denser than usual, but the taste is good and a piece of that cake goes very well with a cup of tea.

I currently have no eggs and no butter, however I do have flour baking powder and whey, honey, raisins which are currently steeping in a mixture of black tea and marsala, and some walnuts. We'll see if I can't make a cake or something out of that.

It's not surprising that I keen running out of knitting needles. The amount of WIPs on the needle is staggering.

One should not be surprised that one is tired when a thing they had time enough to do on a weekend was actually done on a week day until 1:30 in the morning. I will apparently never learn.

I'm currently binge-watching Grey's Anatomy (which I haven't seen before), when suddenly there's music playing and I had to stop playback to check if there isn't another tab open with sound, because it was the theme tune from BBC radio's Unbelievable Truth. I'm now very confused.

Today I realised that I should not start a new game when I have a cold. Just managed to kill my whole party in Baldur's Gate 3 in what was pretty much our first fight.

When going by train to work I have to cross an overbridge with gaps you can see through. I am not good with heights, and going up is a struggle. This morning, a woman not much younger than me saw the struggle and went, "Let's go up together", and held my hand. Thank you, unknown woman, you helped.

The silver lining of sitting at the train station freezing is that at least I didn't have to de-ice my car (which is still at the garage being repaired so it will pass the MOT).
