26 billionaires spent over $22 million to beat Zohran Mamdani.

Why? Because regular people came together around an agenda that prioritized making life easier for more people. It beat big money.

That is how we win.

Every time I accidentally open a Facebook notification I'm reminded why people abandoned that hellsite en masse. It just seems like the discourse equivalent of a petri dish of malaria.

Instead of having a quiet cuppa and reading my book on the patio this afternoon, I ended up dissecting Reform UK’s shiny new “immigration masterplan.”

It went about as well as you'd expect.

Late in the day but this is really phenomenal work by CBS. I didn't think the story could surprise me anymore, but I exclaimed out loud several times reading this.

Literally the only good use of "cyber" is in cyberpunk. Because it's that genre's term for it. Outside it? Bellendery of the highest order.
Here is a cartoon about how cringe the prefix "cyber" is from (checks notes) thirty one years ago

What’s happened here is that, presented with the prospect of rolling back parts of the Thatcherite consensus, more or less the entire political/media class has hysterically lost its shit and wildly radicalised itself to the right. There was no public debate about this: it was simply imposed.

He's always been a meme. For the image he Streisand Effect-ed showing him as the poser loser he is and was. And the ultimate "knows nothing but had the money to do it".

This is, genuinely, the first thing I've seen to genuinely disgust me. Literally papering over history.
Fellow NSA - National Security Agency veterans. Look at what’s happened at the National Cryptologic Museum. They covered up with brown paper the photos of Women in American Cryptology. All in response to President Trump’s anti-diversity executive order.

I've seen a lot of commentary on why Veilguard did so badly, and there's something nobody seems to be mentioning:

I can't buy it for PC on CDKeys. Which means, likely, most key shops don't have the game. And that is how most people buy their games.

They still have no keys outside for Xbox now.
