I don’t understand what I’m supposed to use instead of the “jargon.” I’m supposed to write out a definition of “Orientalism” every where I’d use the term? Like defining terms at the beginning is good practice, of course, but no jargon at all?

I think reading or listening to the report is probably more emotionally affective because you’re forced to imagine these techniques happening to yourself or someone you know, not some random guy in the Middle East who you assume is evil
Thankful this movie got the torture report summary put on audible. Big recommend for the reformed true crime freaks
