During a hip hemi arthroplasty I got a 5 minute potty break from my coworker. When I came back my coworker suddenly had a broken wrist and did NOT say anything until she asked me to open a package for her and I looked at her hand and went "WHY IS YOUR WRIST BENT FUNNY?"

I hate to say it .... But sometimes... You do have to put in the work to know the rules of writing conventions in order to break them in a way that's interesting and not contrived and ridiculous.
