Much fun with airports today. Carry-on got pulled aside in Adelaide because of my power bank and the dude took forever to read the label. Remote gate at AKL so we were bused to the terminal. Then stuck for an age to show our bottle of honey mead because everyone in front of us had boxes of food 😬

Everyone loves to complain about the youf on their phones but I want to lodge a complaint about the oldies. Went to BIFF at Lido and the lady next to me kept pulling her phone out, someone else got a call and I lost track of how many txt messages there were.

All but two RoNS have a BCR of below 1 aka waste of money. The two above 1 (both in the Waikato) will be dubious unless accompanying land use is spelt out

East West Link?
$49m worth of benefits for a project costing $4.1b. The BCR is effectively ZERO to the point Negative if land use is factored
"They know they can’t deliver all of these projects, but they want to pretend they still can. It seems that whatever the question, this government’s answer is 'More RoNS'. But more RoNs will bankrupt the nation."

BOOM!

Let's do this in NZ too...

To make their streets safer and fairer, Cardiff will introduce a penalty charge for oversized SUVs and trucks in the Welsh capital city.

AND really large vehicles will be excluded from some residential areas entirely!

Go Cardiff!

There are at least 3x the number of people in those three buses than in the cars you can see on the motorway this morning.

This is why I fight for more public transport, more dedicated bus lanes, trains, ferries and hopefully one day light rail, even to the shore! It’s more efficient for everyone.
