iPhone Pocket Now Available to Order, But Already Selling Out
Apple recently teamed up with Japanese fashion brand ISSEY MIYAKE to create the iPhone Pocket, a limited-edition knitted accessory designed to carry an iPhone. iPhone Pocket is available to order on Apple's online store starting today, in the United States, France, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. However, it is already completely sold out in the United States, and many size and color combinations are quickly running out in the other countries too. The accessory can also be purchased at the following Apple Store locations, while supplies last: * Apple Canton Road, Hong Kong * Apple Ginza, Tokyo * Apple Jing'an, Shanghai * Apple Marché Saint-Germain, Paris * Apple Myeongdong, Seoul * Apple Orchard Road, Singapore * Apple Piazza Liberty, Milan * Apple Regent Street, London * Apple SoHo, New York City * Apple Xinyi A13, Taipei The accessory is offered in short and long sizes, in a variety of colors: * Short: Lemon, Mandarin, Purple, Pink, Peacock, Sapphire, Cinnamon, and Black * Long: Sapphire, Cinnamon, and Black In the U.S., pricing ranged from $149.95 to $229.95. iPhone Pocket is designed to be versatile. It can fully enclose an iPhone, but you can stretch it to peek at your screen and/or fit additional items. The accessory can be held in your hand, tied onto a bag, or worn directly on you. Here is how Apple describes the iPhone Pocket: > Crafted in Japan, iPhone Pocket features a singular 3D-knitted construction that is the result of research and development carried out at ISSEY MIYAKE. The design drew inspiration from the concept of "a piece of cloth" and reinterpreted the everyday utility of the brand's iconic pleated clothing. The development and design of iPhone Pocket unfolded in close collaboration with the Apple Design Studio, which provided insight into design and production throughout. Given it is a limited-edition accessory, it is unclear if there will ever be additional inventory of the iPhone Pocket once it is fully sold out worldwide. P.S. Who remembers iPod Socks? Saw one of the cats was sitting in front of the hallway camera, so I made it move to give him a little startle. The look on his face 🤣

My last labwork showed I was deficient in vitamin B12, so I've been taking supplements.

Which means the toilet now has a radioactive glow every time I pee 😂

Does anybody have a good ELI5 reference for explaining why generative AI is bad? Needs to touch on how and why it uses so much water and electricity, plus the plagiarism issues.

I have this video, which I love, but I need something less obviously biased and perhaps shorter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqP-Jap_kV0

Kinda hyped for the steam frame. I avoided most of the VR headsets because of the social media tie-ins, but it really sounds like Valve is trying to get this thing right.

I don't get who the target market is for a cloth purse that can only hold your phone that costs as much as an actual coach purse made of real leather.

A rare interview with the creators of the always-funny, always-brilliant, and *usually*-sexy—or occasionally anti-sexy—OGLAF!

Cooper has kept a low profile over the years, but is legitimately one of the very best artists in comics today. Read OGLAF if you're old enough to drive!
Talking Oglaf with Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne: 'We'd stay up all night drawing stuff to make each other laugh' - The Comics Journal
Other than some time off every year for Christmas, Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne have delivered a new Oglaf comic, skewering fantasy tropes with absolutely not safe for work humor, every week since 2008...

Question for those who do contract webdev work: what would you charge for a basic 3 page static site, implementing their designs?

It *seems* like a project I could get done in under 8 hours, but there's always unknowns.

Nothing works with 1password, and they actively block the user from pasting into fields. All their form validation is tied to keypress, you MUST manually type in everything, from the login fields to the credit card details, or else the validation […]

grr, I think my IKEA Tradfri gateway broke. Can't get the thing to show up on the network, even though the ethernet port shows activity. It seems to keep power cycling, and wont even respond to a reset.
