My mates couldn't name even one song that mentions subbuteo, never mind the two I asked them to name. I don't understand people anymore.

Boardgame night

I played in a game once where, first ball of the game, the batter not only ran out his partner calling for a suicidal single but tore his calf muscle doing it. Batters 3 and 4 in for the second ball.
Retired hurt first ball of the chase is a decent gambit, but still a loooooooong way to go to compete with the madness of the South Africa-Afghanistan match, you two.#T20WorldCup 🏏

I'll admit to not fully concentrating on the detail of this T20 World Cup, but how come some teams will have played twice before Australia plays for the first time? #cricket

I'd be interested in learning which office he wants me to work in. My assigned office, 60 miles away, and where there is nobody I work with day to day? One of my 4 clients' offices, perhaps? Or maybe Noida or Bengaluru, where some of my teams work?

What do we know.....
Yes agreed. Curran & Overton seem to be more bowling all rounders and no one seems to know where Will 'Pound shop Liam Livingstone' is best suited

Controversial, I know, but the drawing rounds on House of Games have always been rubbish

On this day, 2 years ago. I sat in bed and said to myself, 'Why haven't you finally made that compilation of Jim McDonald from Coronation Street, absolutely battering people to Motörhead? So I did.'

Enjoy! It will forever be my greatest contribution to society.

I have a meeting in 30 minutes with people from 5 countries across 3 continents. They'll deliver then, won't they?
Royal mail has given me a delivery slot so wide they might as well have said 'today'

I've made this a number of times and it is lovely.
First off, a heartfelt thank you to all of you who’ve sent such lovely messages. And to the business at hand: the great Italian foodwriter, Anna del Conte, introduced me to this storecupboard standby (and student stalwart). Yes, #RecipeOfTheDay is Marmite Spaghetti! www.nigella.com/recipes/spag...

I came across this recipe in Anna Del Conte's memoirs, Risotto with Nettles. Now, there are so many recipes I could borrow from her, and many I have, but this is the one I have to show you here. She i...
