i think ultimately this color wheel thing i'm working on is going to become a mini web-based drawing application, we'll see. an oekaki, of sorts, i guess.

They could not do her xray today because her breathing rate is still very fast. Idk what that means in the context of rats (they all breathe fast, and her breathing has seemed slower for the last few days bc it's been labored) but we should be able to find out for sure what's going on tomorrow.
She is! Alive!! and she's doing better than she was last night so I'm REALLY hoping I get "good" news about that xray later today
(heart failure isn't good news lmao but. i mean it's better than what it could be.)

I can't sleep, i won't know Maple's diagnosis for a few more hours. I've gotten like 4 hours in the last 42 so it's not like I'm not tired i just hate that she's going through this and there's nothing i can do

i have a terrible time with representing directions in my head (i confuse left and right and often order things in reverse and then i usually don't realize i did it until it becomes external) so trying to understand which number is doing what and why when drawing with javascript is. Difficult.

one of the goobers has either congestive heart failure or cancer and we can't know for sure until tomorrow. heart failure is somehow the better option. I've lost 5 rats this year and i was hoping to go the rest of it without losing another, I'm so tired. She just turned 2 last month.

Artists! The US Copyright Office has changed the rules, starting in Feb. we can register up to 20 published 2D works of art in a single application, making it way more affordable!
Important as registration is needed to fight theft in court or the CCB.

I've never done one of these before, that was kinda fun. took a hybrid approach to it, the texture on the stripes is mechanical pencil. everything else is digital.

Excited to spoil her for whatever time she has left, my girls will love her.

Got out of the car in the mcdonalds drive thru (i was not the one driving) to scoop up a stray dog in the adjacent parking lot. Was a small, long haired breed, white but dirty. No leash, no visible human.
Turns out not a stray, owner was standing on the other side of the lot.

Got out of the car in the mcdonalds drive thru (i was not the one driving) to scoop up a stray dog in the adjacent parking lot. Was a small, long haired breed, white but dirty. No leash, no visible human.
