The thing about Arc Raiders that really confuses me is that it just straight up looks boring and janky. That one Control PvE game looked more interesting.

I'm playing Rise with LBG and it feels kind of mean. I do a kickflip over a monster, lodge a bomb between it's shoulder blades, detonate it 5 times with shrapnel, ride it into 3 separate cliff faces, and then while it's down I unload like 10 shotgun shells in its face.

The animation change half way through is killing me
People talk about "who has the time?" enough, so I'll say it's pretty intimidating to play a TTRPG. It's basically a little improv play you and your friends put on for yourselves. There's a sense of stage fright to it combined with fears you won't know the rules or you'll fail the team.

I work in camera security, so I can't give specifics but if you're really trying to get into someone's server, try the business name or their flagship product, but use a 0 for an o and a ! at the end.

It's kind of impressive how much Harry Potter is NOT cultural zeitgeist. Outside of people who were 12 when the movies came out, new people just don't care. For how huge it was, it's staying power is wholly reliant on the IP holder wanting to make money off of Disney Adults.
