Hi! As Jay's co-creator — while also being a fellow *contractor* at PCG, not associated with any of the business decisions being made — I think this summary of events laid out by Xeni is accurate to what I remember of the unfolding distribution problems that kept Yazeba's off of shelves.
When Rascal opened up to questions/criticisms of their article on the slow death of Yazeba's Bed & Breakfast , I foolishly thought I could get my feedback written and submitted on time.

My mom recently started collecting old fisher price sets from the 70s out of nostalgia. It’s very sweet and I am so happy for her to have her nice displays! Now after over 20 years she finally understands why I collect Pokémon well into adulthood 😝

"Who is this hypercapitalist pretending to be the soft, queer, indie communist?" Are we being serious right now? I have an obvious bias, but this entire article seems very one-sided, and acting like asking for $400k on an indie project that made $340k isn't absolutely wild is A Choice imo.
