Last week, the Ont govt announced that psychologists will be getting prescription rights.

This next week, our psych college announced that in response to govt pressure, the new standard to be a
psychologist will be 1/3 of the training we currently require.

This needs to be public.

This 1895 medical essay is so fucking real. “You say you just want gays to be happy. That’s expecting far too much. Be real for a moment. It’s not like straights are happy.”

So you're telling me the PABAK statistic "adjusts" for prevalence and bias by ignoring them, but when I "adjust" for the dirty dishes by hiding them in the oven, I'm "making my girlfriend regret signing a lease with me"?

“It’s awful what’s happening in the US but that will never happen in Canada”

Today in Canada, the official opposition did this. That means that, if they get elected, they’ll be fighting to make these policies a reality.

Watched Twilight with my gf last night and while we make fun of the Cullens for going to high school forever, if I was an immortal cursed to sparkle in the sun I would get way too many academic specialties 🤮. No sun, just an MPH, 3 more clinical competencies, stats diploma #PsychSciSky #AcademicSky

Been thinking about how people who self-injure cite intrapersonal reasons for doing so WAY MORE than interpersonal, but report rejection & conflict as antecedents and risk factors for SI. Makes sense that the way you feel about an interaction, rather than the interaction itself, elicits SI... (1/2)
