My favorite Halloween fun fact is that a number of Star Wars alien species were created during the cantina scene in A New Hope by using leftover masks that Rick Baker made for various Halloween projects.

This is only tangentially related but I strongly suggest anyone who loved these Looney Tunes shorts growing up to check out the work of Preston Sturges, the way he integrated classical music cues with physical comedy was a huge inspiration on those directors like Tex Avery and Chuck Jones
